At Quick Junk Car Sale, we do not directly coordinate pickup or scheduling. After finalizing the details, we will put you in touch with our carriers and local junk car buyers to coordinate a suitable date and time. In most cases, vehicles can be picked up within 1 to 3 days. However, please note that unforeseen conditions such as weather or holidays may cause some delays. We cannot guarantee same-day pickup or specific timing under any circumstances.

While we would love to buy every car with cash, it is often not feasible. Instead, we guarantee all checks issued by local buyers and carriers. Cash payments can be challenging to track and pose safety risks for tow drivers. If a check were to bounce, Quick Junk Car Sale will cover the full amount. Rest assured, we have never had an unresolved payment problem.

The steps required to sell your car depend on various factors, including its location, age, and any additional documentation you have to prove ownership. Check out our service locations and find your country to learn more. Even if you don’t have a logbook, you will still need to provide proof of ownership.

Edit Content

In general, we pay the legal owner of the vehicle, as indicated by the name printed in the logbook. If there are deceased owners, you may still be able to sell the vehicle, but there are exceptions. However, if you purchased the vehicle from someone else, and the previous owner’s name is still on the logbook but you signed it as the buyer, you cannot legally sell the vehicle until you have a logbook in your name. This practice, known as a “logbook leap,” is illegal and can be considered tax evasion. Each country may have specific requirements regarding sales tax for vehicles sold, excluding licensed dealers.

Edit Content

Absolutely! It is quite common for logbooks to be issued by countries other than the one where the vehicle is located. This should not be a problem when working with our buyers.

Edit Content

Unfortunately, we cannot buy vehicles with liens under any circumstances. All liens must be paid in full before the vehicle can be sold. To proceed, you will need to have the lien stamped on your logbook or obtain a separate lien release form from the issuing bank if there are any lien marks. At the time of pickup, you will need to provide a signed and/or stamped copy of the lien release. A mere copy of the release will not suffice.

While you are not required to be present, we highly recommend it. If you are unable to be there, you can sign your logbook in advance and have someone else handle the transaction. We can mail your logbook to the local carrier branch, who will then mail you the payment. However, please note that the logbook or equivalent documentation must be received before payment can be issued.

Edit Content

Absolutely not! Quick Junk Car Sale never charges hidden fees, and you will not be charged anything. The amount you accept for the purchase of your car, provided that the stated condition is accurate, is the exact amount you will receive at pickup. There are no additional charges or surprises.

Edit Content

No, we cannot legally purchase an abandoned vehicle. If you have an abandoned vehicle, it is important to notify your local authorities and follow the proper procedures in your country. They will guide you on how to handle the situation and dispose of the abandoned vehicle legally.

After pickup, your junk car could take one of several paths. Depending on its condition, it may be sold to a buyer or salvaged. Our buyer network includes various entities such as scrap yards, recycling centres, and dismantlers, all looking to purchase different types of cars. Rest assured that your vehicle will be handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable regulations.
